Arundo Reed thatch shingles are made up of hundreds of stems manufactured from soft PVC on modern extruders. The stems are then welded thermally and form a flexible shingle. When installed on a roof the thatch shingles overlap to give the appearance of a traditionally thatched roof. Due to their flexibility the shingle can also be used also on corners and edges.
